Israeli Army Statement on Killing of Iranian Armed Forces Chief of Staff

The Israeli army has announced that it killed the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces in Tehran last night.

It is reported that during an airstrike on Tehran, Israeli aircraft killed Brigadier General Ali Shadmani, who led Iran's emergency military headquarters and oversaw the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the army. He was appointed just days ago after his predecessor, Alireza Rashidi, was killed in Israeli strikes.
