I Am, Apparently, the First Officially Recognized Father: Simonian

At the beginning of the parliamentary session, Zaruhi Batoyan, a deputy from the "Civil Contract" faction in the National Assembly of Armenia, announced that today is Father's Day and stated: "For the first time, we are officially celebrating Father's Day in Armenia. This is another opportunity to emphasize their role every year on June 17, to encourage participatory and engaged fatherhood." Addressing Alen Simonian, Zaruhi Batoyan said: "Congratulations to all fathers in your person and to all the fathers sitting in this hall, to all those who have felt that joy." Alen Simonian then humorously declared, "I am, apparently, the first officially recognized father at this moment."
