Pashinyan Explains Why He Dismissed the Director of the National Security Service

Armen Abazyan has served as the Director of the National Security Service for the longest time during my premiership and worked in the most challenging period since November 2020, with his entire tenure being extremely difficult. I believe he deserves a bit of rest after working under tense conditions for five years in that role.

This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a press briefing. It is worth noting that, according to the Prime Minister's decision today, Armen Abazyan has been dismissed from the position of Director of the National Security Service.
