Underground Tremors in Iran: Epicenter Located Near Nuclear Facility

Seismic activity measuring 2.5 on the Richter scale has been recorded in the vicinity of Iran's Fordow nuclear facility, according to the Iranian Seismological Center. The tremors occurred on the evening of June 15.
The Fordow facility is an underground nuclear site located near the city of Qom in central Iran, situated within mountainous tunnels. Earlier reports from Iran had indicated explosions in the area of the nuclear site resulting from Israeli missile strikes.
According to Tasnim, the facility has not sustained any damage. This has also been confirmed by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
