Russian Foreign Minister on the Fate of Western Weapons Transferred to Ukraine

Russia will demand that Ukraine destroy the weapons that have been transferred to the country as part of supplies from Western nations. This was stated by Alexander Grushko, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia, in an interview with Izvestia.

“Of course, all these surpluses should be destroyed. All international algorithms are known. They should be reduced and destroyed,” said the deputy minister.

Grushko added that politicians who continue to supply arms are being reckless. According to him, this is because the weapons end up on the black market, from where they are sent to various parts of the world, including Europe.

It is recalled that on June 10, Foreign Policy magazine reported that the Trump administration could stop supplying weapons to Ukraine, but it is unlikely to cease intelligence sharing. Accordingly, Kyiv continues to believe that the American leader will soon change his mind and begin to provide more assistance to the republic.
