Iran Officially Withdraws from Nuclear Negotiations
Lilit A.
In light of the United States' support for Israeli strikes against Iran, Tehran deems it pointless to continue negotiations with the U.S. regarding its nuclear program. This announcement was made by Esmail Baghaei, spokesperson for Iran's Foreign Ministry.
“The other side (the U.S.) has acted in a way that makes dialogue meaningless. You cannot talk about negotiations while simultaneously coordinating actions that allow attacks on Iranian territory,” the diplomat stated to the Tasnim news agency.
