One Passenger Survives Plane Crash in India: Details

A passenger aboard a Boeing 787 Dreamliner en route to London has survived the crash of the aircraft. The individual managed to escape from the plane, as reported by India Today.

The publication shared a video on its X page showing the miraculous survivor, Ramesh Vishwakumara, walking alongside numerous people. Details on how the man got out of the plane have not been disclosed, but it is known that he was seated in 11A. Surprisingly, the passenger did not sustain any serious injuries.

It is worth noting that today a passenger aircraft crashed near Ahmedabad Airport in Gujarat, India. Reports indicate that the plane went down in a residential area. Media sources confirm that the aircraft belonged to Air India and was heading to London. Roads leading to the crash site have been closed off, and emergency service crews are currently working at the scene.

There were 242 people on board the aircraft, including 230 passengers, 2 pilots, and 10 crew members. Of those on board, 169 are Indian citizens, 53 are from the UK, 7 from Portugal, and 1 from Canada.
