Vance Calls on Musk

US Vice President James David Vance and White House Chief of Staff Susan Wiles have called Elon Musk, urging him to cease the dispute with President Donald Trump. This was reported by The Wall Street Journal (WSJ).

According to WSJ sources, Vance and Wiles called on Musk to ease tensions during the phone conversation. The newspaper notes that the American Vice President is aligned with Trump but did not criticize Musk.

The public feud between Trump and Musk occurred on June 5. The billionaire criticized a tax incentive bill for citizens. In response, Trump suggested halting subsidies and contract provisioning for Musk's projects to save budgetary funds.

Afterward, a heated argument took place on X social media, during which Musk stated that Trump would not have been able to win the US presidential election without his support.
