U.S. President Donald Trump has described business magnate Elon Musk's apology as "very nice," following a previous conflict between the two.

The White House leader shared this opinion in an interview with The New York Post. "I think that was a very nice gesture on his part," Trump said.

Trump also stated that he "could" reconcile with his former billionaire friend, but it is not a priority for him at this time. The U.S. president noted that he does not blame Musk for their dispute, but he is "a bit disappointed" with his actions.

"Listen, I’m not mad at him, I was just very surprised that it happened. I think he feels very bad about saying that," the U.S. president remarked.
