Two Suspects of Serious Crimes Detained in Yerevan
Auroranews has spoken with Martun Simonian, the deputy head of the Public Communications and Awareness Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Officers from the Criminal Police’s Operational Response Division, as well as other structural units of the Criminal Police, have detained two men on suspicion of illegal possession of weapons on Arshakunyats Avenue in Yerevan. They have been transferred to the Criminal Police Department of Yerevan.
Earlier, shamshyan.com reported that some of the police officers, who were masked, neutralized and transferred two civilians to the criminal police near the well-known Kinohayrenti.
The detainees are involved in a high-profile criminal case, details of which are not being published at this time due to the ongoing investigation.
