Several Companies’ Ice Cream Batches Banned Due to Violations: Food Safety Agency

The Food Safety Inspection Body of Armenia has published three reports detailing the results of inspections at ice cream production facilities. According to the findings, 10 out of the 12 samples submitted for laboratory examination from various manufacturers were found to violate established standards regarding bacterial content and milk fat mass percentage. This information comes from the Food Safety Inspection Body.

For these products, the Inspection Body has issued orders for banning their sale, recalling them from the market, destroying them, or withdrawing them from circulation.

It should be noted that in “Grand Candy’s” “Sandwich” ice cream, a coliform bacteria was discovered. As of now, “Grand Candy” LLC is complying with the order’s requirements and has, upon its request, withdrawn 45.5 kg of ice cream from the distribution network.
