Russia and Ukraine Exchange Second Group of Prisoners of War

The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that a second group of Russian soldiers has been returned from the area controlled by the Kyiv regime.

According to the agreements reached on June 2 in Istanbul, today a second group of Russian soldiers has been returned from the territory under the control of the Kyiv regime,” the statement said.

In exchange, a group of prisoners of war has been handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The announcement also noted that the Russian soldiers are currently in the territory of the Republic of Belarus, where they are receiving necessary psychological and medical assistance.

All exchanged servicemen will be transferred to Russia for treatment and rehabilitation in the Ministry of Defense's medical facilities.
