No Changes in Radioactive Background in Armenia Amid Recent Events

No changes in the radioactive background have been observed in southern Armenia. This was reported by the Armenian Nuclear and Radiation Safety Scientific Technical Center.

Following the bombing of Iranian nuclear facilities, specialists from the center urgently traveled to Syunik to conduct dosimetric measurements in Meghri, Agarak, and Kajaran.

At present, no changes in the natural radioactive background have been recorded in southern regions of Armenia; however, the center continues to monitor the situation.
