New Negotiations Between Russia and the US Set to Take Place in Both Capital Cities
Russia and the United States have made a preliminary decision to move their consultations on the normalization of relations from Istanbul to their respective capitals. This announcement was made by Alexander Darchiev, the Russian ambassador to the US.
“There is still a long way to go for the restoration of Russian-American relations, and the process itself is proceeding with difficulty. It is being slowed not only by opponents in the White House—representing a 'deep state'—but also by entrenched anti-Russian lobbies in Congress,” Darchiev noted.
He confirmed that the next round of negotiations will take place in Moscow very soon.
