Approximately 372 Drunk Drivers Detected

From June 2 to June 9, during operations carried out in the capital, Yerevan's patrol officers detected 4,516 violations of traffic rules, relocating 178 vehicles to designated areas. Specifically, 160 drivers were found to be under the influence, while 276 were driving without a valid driver's license. Additionally, violations included 25 related to registration plates, 1,069 for not wearing seat belts, 19 for driving without a child seat, 306 for smoking while driving, 336 for using a phone while driving, 39 for pedestrians crossing in non-designated areas, and 1,511 other violations.

116 vehicles were operated without mandatory civil liability insurance, 278 had not undergone technical inspection, 42 had malfunctioning headlights, and 62 had tinted windshields and side windows. Furthermore, 75 individuals were arrested on various suspicions and taken to the Community Police Department.

During the same period in the regions, patrol officers detected 15,930 traffic rule violations, relocating 253 vehicles. They identified 212 drivers under the influence, 590 without valid licenses, and 3 individuals driving with fake licenses. Additionally, violations included 83 related to registration plates, 2 with fake registration plates, 4,819 for not wearing seat belts, 196 for driving without a child seat, 507 for smoking while driving, 677 for phone use while driving, 22 for pedestrians crossing in non-designated areas, 1,747 for speeding, and 4,300 other violations.

458 vehicles were operated without mandatory civil liability insurance, 1,851 had not undergone technical inspection, 296 had malfunctioning headlights, including 7 trucks, and 213 had tinted windshields and side windows. Moreover, 27 individuals were arrested on various suspicions and taken to the regional Community Police divisions.
