Fire Erupts at Russia’s Azot Chemical Plant Following Drone Strike
A fire broke out at the Azot chemical plant in the city of Novomoskovsk, Tula region, Russia, as a result of a drone strike. This was reported by the regional governor Dmitry Milyaev.
“The air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense continue to protect the Tula residents from enemy attacks, having shot down several aerial targets. A fire has broken out at the Azot plant in Novomoskovsk due to a drone falling. The fire has been extinguished, and no exceeding of permissible levels of pollutants has been recorded,” the governor wrote.
According to him, two individuals were injured; however, their lives are not in danger.
