We Will End This Bloodshed: Trump

The United States is unhappy with the situation surrounding Ukraine and Russia but believes in the success of a peace plan. This was stated by U.S. President Donald Trump during a meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, as reported by The Guardian.

"I am not happy about all of this, but I believe we will eventually be able to stop this bloodshed," the American leader said.

Trump added that he frequently discusses "world issues outside of Germany" with Merz, including the Ukrainian conflict. According to the American president, the German chancellor is also dissatisfied with the escalation of military actions.

Earlier, German political scientist Alexander Rahr stated that during Merz's visit to the U.S., he might attempt to bring the U.S. president back to the "European camp."
