We Are Living Normally, The World Is Not Collapsing: Mirzoyan on Relations with Russia

Today, there are many partner relations between Armenia and Russia. This was stated by Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.

“We are trying to ensure that all obligations defined on paper are fulfilled towards each other, meaning we aim for the full implementation of the agreements we have,” said Mirzoyan.

He noted that besides the agreements, Armenia and Russia also cooperate well within the EAEU, where Armenia has beneficial collaboration.

“Now, this does not mean that everything is cloudless, that everything is smooth. There are problems, there are significant issues around which our Russian partners have their own positions, perceptions of events, and reasoning on why things have turned out this way. For us, the truth is completely different, which our Russian partners know,” the minister added.

According to Mirzoyan, “we are living normally, the world is not collapsing.”

“We see their blame in something, and they might see our blame in something. We are convinced that we are right, but this is part of the area where there are disagreements; however, there are many areas where there is consensus and healthy relations,” he concluded.
