The Issue of the 'Russian House' in Baku Must Be Resolved, Galuzin

Russia is in contact with the Azerbaijani side and is working on resolving the potential closure of the 'Russian House'. This was stated by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin.

“We want to resolve the issue so that the 'Russian House' is not closed. We are working on this topic with the Azerbaijani side. We proceed from the understanding that this issue can and should be resolved within the framework of the allied cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan. We believe that this is how such issues should be approached and to do everything possible so that our citizens can freely get to know each other's cultures and traditions through the relevant structures of Russia and Azerbaijan,” he said.

It should be noted that on February 3, 2025, Baku sent a note to Moscow regarding the cessation of the activities of the 'Russian House'.
