Ofelya
Approximately 3,000 vehicles are on board the burning cargo ship Morning Midas in the Pacific Ocean, including hundreds of electric cars. The fire is still not under control, but all people on the ship have been evacuated. This was reported by Bloomberg, referencing the ship's manager, Zodiac Maritime.
Previously, the U.S. Coast Guard’s Alaskan division had reported that the fire broke out on the Morning Midas cargo ship, which was located about 555 kilometers (345 miles) from Adak Island in the Aleutian Islands. At that time, there were 22 people on board, and no information has been reported regarding injuries.
