This is Our Business in Church-Related Matters: Rubinyan

Vice Speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan wrote on his Facebook page: "On May 30, His Excellency Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan announced live that various 'geopolitical power centers' have told him the following: 'They want to turn your country into a place where mileage does not matter, where there will be breeding grounds for LGBTQ+ individuals, where new family model implementations will take place, where borders do not matter, forget completely about national values, and so on; it will become a transit corridor for drugs or a place for their usage, it will be a transit corridor for money laundering or a place... if you do not bring about this (government) change in your country.'"

Thus, it follows that foreign power centers have established contact with the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, described a scenario for transforming Armenia into 'Sodom and Gomorrah', and urged on this basis to carry out a regime change in Armenia. If His Excellency is correct, then I can call the 'Holy Movement' he leads nothing other than an attempted coup orchestrated by foreign powers in Armenia, and I cannot refer to His Excellency in any other way than as an agent of the influence of foreign power centers.

I hope that the Supreme Spiritual Council and His Holiness Karekin II will also clarify this issue. I do not know which issues related to the church are our business and which are not, but this one is definitely my business and our business."
