Iran Does Not Intend to Acquire Nuclear Weapons, Peskov Says

Russia is guided by Iran's statements that the country does not wish to possess nuclear weapons and has no such plans. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President.

“Regarding the Iranian side's accusations that they are preparing to acquire nuclear weapons, we primarily base our statements on the official declarations from the Iranian side that there are no such plans, and that Iran does not wish to have nuclear weapons,” Peskov said.
