Fire Spread Contained: Ministry of Emergency Situations

On June 3, at 16:48, the crisis management center of the Ararat regional rescue department received a call reporting that a house was on fire on the central street of Burastan village. This was announced by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Three firefighting units from the ministry's regional rescue department were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that the fire had broken out at two adjacent addresses on Artashatyan Street.

The fire was contained by 17:44 and extinguished by 18:26. The roof of a pharmacy on Artashatyan Street (approximately 45 square meters), the roof of a building at an adjacent address (approximately 40 square meters), and a stockpile of wood (about 60-70 pieces) were burned. Rescue teams prevented the spread of the fire to neighboring structures.
