Zelensky Criticizes Russia's Proposal as 'Idiotic'

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has criticized the Russian delegation for suggesting a two or three-day ceasefire during negotiations held in Istanbul. This was reported by RBK Ukraine.

"They are ready for a two or three-day ceasefire to gather the dead from the battlefield. I think they are idiots, because a ceasefire is supposed to be for preventing casualties. They just need a short break right now," emphasized Zelensky.

It is worth noting that the second round of negotiations between the Russian and Ukrainian delegations was held at the Ciragan Palace in Istanbul, lasting more than an hour.
