Zakharova on the Appointment of Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister as Ambassador to Turkey
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, did not comment to TASS on the possible appointment of Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin as Russia's new ambassador in Turkey.
Earlier, media reports had indicated that Russia intends to change its ambassador in Turkey and that Vershinin is expected to become the new head of the diplomatic mission.
