Erdogan on Trump's Historic Announcement

Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced the upcoming launch of direct flights to Syria. This is reported by Turkish media.

“We are very pleased with the decision of European countries to lift sanctions against Syria following US President Donald Trump's historic announcements. Syrian airlines will soon begin flights to Turkey. Our AJet company will also operate regular flights to Syria,” he stated.

Erdogan added that he believes all of Syria's neighbors and all countries in the region will benefit as stability and peace are established in Syria.
