Ukrainian Foreign Minister Reports on Kyiv's Aspirations

Kyiv aims to end the conflict this year. This announcement was made by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrey Sybiga during a meeting with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan.

He noted that the Ukrainian side is interested in continuing the Istanbul negotiations. “We are interested in these meetings continuing, as we want to end the war this year. We are ready to discuss this with the Russian Federation, even if it is for 30, 50, or 100 days. We confirmed this during our last meeting with the Russian side,” he said.
