Zelensky Indicates When the War Should End

The President of Ukraine stated that the war should conclude by June 2026. He also explained that by that time, the Russian economy will strongly feel the repercussions of sanctions.

The Ukrainian leader made these comments during a discussion with journalists on May 28, as reported by Channel 24.

Volodymyr Zelensky noted that the United States expected concessions from the Kremlin, which is why stronger sanction packages were not presented. He emphasized that Washington's expectations from Russia have already diminished.

Zelensky also announced a potential tripartite meeting involving Putin and Trump. “We can meet in any format, we constantly emphasize this. We are ready for a technical meeting in the Vatican, Switzerland, or wherever they say, offer. And we are also ready for a meeting at the level of leaders,” the President stated.
