Vladimir Medinsky, the assistant to the President of Russia, has announced that he has contacted Ukraine's Defense Minister, Oleksandr Umirov, and proposed a specific date and location for a meeting to exchange memoranda.

“Right there, we are ready to begin substantive discussions on each point of the package agreement regarding a ceasefire. The Ukrainian side has gone off for consultations. The meeting has apparently been postponed. We are waiting for their confirmation as soon as possible and are ready to meet in person on the appointed date in the coming days to start working for long-term peace and the saving of human lives,” he noted.
