US Secretary of State's Message to Aliyev

The United States supports Azerbaijan's sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity. This was stated by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, according to The New York Times.

“The United States continues to support efforts to establish peace and stability in the region, which are crucial for the prosperity of the South Caucasus. We welcome the agreement reached this year on a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia,” said the Secretary of State.

As Rubio noted, the developed US-Azerbaijan partnership over the past 33 years promotes shared interests in security, energy, and the economy.
