Israel Warns Trump: This Scenario is Unacceptable

The Israeli leadership has informed the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump that it is preparing to strike Iran's nuclear facilities. This was reported by the New York Times, citing its sources.

“While the Trump administration attempts to negotiate a nuclear agreement with Iran, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu threatens to derail the talks by attacking Iran's key uranium enrichment facilities,” the article states.

According to the publication, shortly before Trump's first official foreign trip to the Middle East, Israel warned the American administration that it was planning to target Iran's nuclear sites. Trump requested that Israel refrain from taking action to maintain greater leverage in securing a deal with Iran.

Israeli officials are concerned that if Trump finalizes such an agreement, it would allow Iran to maintain its uranium enrichment facilities. This scenario is unacceptable to Israel.

Furthermore, White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt had previously stated that negotiations regarding Iran's nuclear program were progressing in the right direction. She indicated that there are two possible outcomes to finalize a deal with Iran: either a positive diplomatic solution will be found, or it will lead to a negative situation for the Islamic Republic.
