Heavy Snow and Rain in Russia

The bad weather seems to remind us of its presence just three days before the scheduled start of summer. In several regions of Buryatia, including Zakamensky, Selenginsky, and Kabansky, snow has fallen. At the same time, there have been rains accompanied by a drop in temperature and an intensification of the wind. This information comes from a report by the director of the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.

“The anomaly, reminiscent of late May, has surprised the residents. During this time of year, the region is usually preparing for the summer heat. Such weather surprises are, according to meteorologists, connected with the passage of an active cyclone and the instability of atmospheric fronts,” he wrote.
