Hamas Leader Eliminated: Netanyahu
Ofelya
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced that Israeli soldiers have eliminated the leader of the Palestinian radical group Hamas, Mohammed Sinwar, in the Gaza Strip.
“We have reached a turning point by eliminating Hamas's governing capabilities. We have removed Mohammed Sinwar,” Netanyahu stated.
It is noteworthy that earlier, the Israel Defense Forces reported that they had targeted an underground headquarters below the European Hospital in Khan Yunis. The operation was focused on Mohammed Sinwar, who led Hamas in the Gaza Strip and was at the helm of the group's military wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades.
