The episode of slapping should not be exaggerated and turned into a cosmic disaster. This was stated by French President Emmanuel Macron. Earlier, media outlets released a video showing Macron slapping the French president.

Macron addressed this video during his official visit to Hanoi. 'We were just having a bit of an argument and joking. I am surprised at how they are trying to turn this into a scandal,' he stated.

He added that such speculations are frequent, and society often constructs theories based on out-of-context footage.
