Zakhrova Calls Georgian Singer Mentally Ill
The Georgian singer Erkhele Getzadze, who defiled the Russian flag during a concert, will be investigated by Russian law enforcement agencies. This was stated by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on her Telegram channel.
Zakharova emphasized that "the flag will remain a flag," regardless of what a "mentally ill person" does with it. According to her, this act will not go unnoticed and will not be left without judgment by the Russian law enforcement authorities.
“Personally from me. When God does not give a man a brain, he is forced to work with other organs—this time with the organ that apparently is the most available,” wrote Zakharova.
The diplomat added that many worthy Georgians take pride in the Russian flag, citing architect Zurab Tsereteli and ballet dancer Nikolai Tsiskaridze as examples. She also reminded that it was the Georgian Meliton Kantaria, along with Sergeant Mikhail Egorov, who raised the flag of the country, the successor of which is Russia, on the fallen Reichstag.
