Harvard's Ban on Foreign Student Admissions Temporarily Halted
Julya
The court has temporarily suspended the ban on admitting foreign students at Harvard University, which had been previously initiated by the U.S. government.
Harvard University had previously filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration in a federal court in Boston. The university argues that depriving Harvard of the right to admit foreign students violates the First Amendment.
Now, more than 7,000 international students at Harvard University can continue their studies without fear of immediate expulsion.
It is worth noting that earlier reports indicated that the Trump administration had prohibited Harvard from accepting foreign students.
