Foreign National Arrested for Sexual Assault on Minor

Through operational and investigative measures by the Criminal Police of Yerevan, a 59-year-old foreign citizen, wanted for committing sexual acts or other sexual activities with a person under the age of 12, was found and transferred to the department on May 22 at 14:15 on Vazgen Sargsyan Street in the capital.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia reports that preventive custody has been selected as a measure for this individual. He has been presented to the investigative department of the Kentron and Norq-Marash administrative districts.
