The Russian military base is a key component of Armenia's interests and security. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during a joint press conference with Ararat Mirzoyan in Yerevan.
He reminded that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the signing of the agreement on the deployment of the base. Moscow advocates for regular close contacts between the military, security services, and law enforcement agencies of the two countries.
