Internationally Recognize Their Atrocities: Zakharova

The official representative of the Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, called on international bodies to examine the atrocities committed by British troops in Afghanistan via her Telegram channel. "What journalists have reported should be subject to investigation by the international community, including the United Nations. At the very least, the UN's special rapporteur on extrajudicial killings and the UN Human Rights Council should take an interest in this matter," Zakharova wrote.

Moreover, the BBC had previously reported that members of the UK's Special Air Service (SAS) had killed civilians, including children, subjected prisoners to summary executions, and killed sleeping individuals. According to the television channel, these actions were carried out not only in Afghanistan but also in Iraq.
