Two Young Men Steal Sheep and Lambs from Draxhtik Village and Sell Them
On May 13, a resident of Draxhtik village reported a theft to the Chambarak Municipal Police Department. The man informed law enforcement authorities that four sheep and five lambs had been stolen from his livestock barn, causing approximately 490,000 drams in material damage. This information was reported by the police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Chambarak municipal police, utilizing operational data in collaboration with officers from the Criminal Police Department of the Gegharkunik regional administration, determined that the theft was carried out by two residents: a 31-year-old from Draxhtik village and a 30-year-old from Gavar city, who subsequently sold the stolen animals to a livestock trader.
The two young men have been identified and are currently under investigation by the preliminary inquiry body. The stolen goods have been recovered. An investigation is underway.
