Meeting Held Between Defense Leaders of Azerbaijan and Israel

The Israeli Minister of Defense, Israel Katz, met with his Azerbaijani counterpart Zakir Hasanov in Tel Aviv to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of security. This was stated in a statement from the Israeli Ministry of Defense.

During the meeting, Katz expressed satisfaction with the strategic alliance between the two countries. He thanked Hasanov for supporting Azerbaijan following the events of October 7 and for mediating efforts between Israel and Turkey.

According to the statement, the parties agreed to expand defense cooperation.
