Car Overturns, Leaving One Injured

On May 19, at 09:25, the crisis management center of the Ararat regional rescue service received a call regarding an accident on the Shahumyan-Taperakan highway where a car had fallen into a ditch, resulting in injuries.

A firefighting and rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that at the 1st kilometer of the Shahumyan-Taperakan highway, a VAZ brand car had veered off the roadway and overturned in an agricultural area.

Before rescuers arrived, the driver was extricated from the vehicle by local individuals. Rescuers disconnected the car's electricity, closed the gas cylinder valve, and assisted the driver, who was then transported to a medical center.
