Zelensky Meets with US Vice President

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, met with US Vice President Jay D. Vences in Rome. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio was also present at the meeting. This was the first meeting between Zelensky and Vences since the dispute that occurred at the White House in late February. The meeting lasted for 40 minutes.

It is noteworthy that Zelensky became the first foreign leader to meet with Pope Leo XIV after his assumption of office.
