Iran and Azerbaijan to Conduct Joint Military Exercises

Azerbaijani media outlets, citing the country's Ministry of Defense, have reported on upcoming joint military exercises involving Iran and other participants.

"A meeting took place between the leaders of the exercises and other senior representatives from both countries. The meeting presented a report on the objectives of the exercises, their scenario and location, the preparatory process, safety regulations, as well as the tasks to be accomplished at various stages," the announcement states.

According to this information, the exercises will last until May 21 and will take place in areas described as 'liberated from occupation.' The specific regions involved have not been disclosed.
