India and Pakistan Establish Ceasefire Regime

India's ground forces have announced that the ceasefire regime with Pakistan is in effect without any time limitations. This was reported by Hindustan Times.

“As long as both sides refrain from hostile actions, the ceasefire agreement will remain in force indefinitely,” the statement said.

It is noteworthy that the establishment of the ceasefire followed negotiations on May 10 and 12 between India's Director General of Military Operations Rajiv Ghai and his Pakistani counterpart Kashif Abdullah.
