Peskov Comments on Trump's Statement

The press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, has announced that a telephone conversation between President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump will take place. This was reported by TASS.

In this way, he commented on Trump's statement regarding plans to call Putin on May 19 to discuss the situation surrounding Ukraine, as well as trade issues.

The American leader also expressed hope that after phone conversations with Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, military operations in the conflict zone will cease.
