Clarification Turns into Brawl: Young Man Killed

On May 16, Arsen Kirakosyan was transferred to the Spitak Medical Center with various stab wounds and a fractured skull. This was reported by the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The 29-year-old resident of the village of Tsaghkaber in the Lori province died one hour after being hospitalized.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has reported that the crime was solved based on fresh evidence. Specifically, officers from the Criminal Investigation Department and regional authorities of Lori, along with community police from Spitak and Taroni, discovered that a group of young men had met on the road from the village of Mets Parni to the village of Katnajur to resolve some domestic issues.

The clarification escalated into a brawl. During the altercation, a 28-year-old resident of Mets Parni struck Arsen Kirakosyan multiple times with a stone and then with a knife.

The 28-year-old from Mets Parni, along with a group of individuals involved in the incident, has been arrested and presented to the territorial investigation department.

The circumstances are being clarified during the investigation.
