Tigran Ter-Margaryan Appointed Predecessor in Advance: 'Haykakan Jamanak'
Rumors circulated yesterday morning about the resignation of the controversial New Nork district head Tigran Ter-Margaryan. It was reported that he had submitted his resignation request on Monday, but it was not signed as the mayor is currently in London. However, throughout the day, Ter-Margaryan denied these claims, while a source from the Republic Party assured that he had not written a resignation request, although he did not rule out the possibility that he might resign in the coming days.
This information was initially reported by 'Haykakan Jamanak'. It appears that a few days ago, he appointed his deputy, Marat Seyoyan, a member of the Republic Party, who is also a member of the Union of Volunteers of Armenia. Seyoyan was appointed as a replacement for Arthur Guyumjyants, who was dismissed days after Seyoyan's appointment. The newspaper's source did not hide that due to a criminal case, the question of Tigran Ter-Margaryan's resignation may arise at any moment, and thus a successor has been appointed in advance.
