Those Conditions Are Unacceptable for Ukraine – Foreign Ministry

During the negotiations held in Istanbul, the Russian delegation indeed put forward a number of conditions that are unacceptable for Ukraine. This was stated by the spokesperson of Ukraine's Foreign Ministry, Georgi Tikhii, in a briefing with journalists in Istanbul.

"The Russian delegation has put forward several conditions that we find unacceptable. We have a lot of experience negotiating with the Russians, believe me, since 2014. There have been numerous phases, so I can say that the Ukrainian delegation knows well how to respond to everything that may be said from their side," he said.

According to Tikhii, the Ukrainian delegation has calmly responded to this, outlining a principled stance and remaining committed to its position.
