Remember My Words: An Impossible Scenario - Araqchi

Iran has not received a written proposal from the United States regarding the nuclear deal, either directly or indirectly, according to Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi. His remarks were quoted by RIA Novosti.

“Remember my words. It is impossible for there to be a scenario in which Iran renounces its right to enrich uranium for peaceful purposes—a right that it has earned through its own efforts and which is possessed by all other members of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons,” Araqchi wrote on social media.

Noting that the deal surrounding Iran's nuclear program is nearing completion, Donald Trump expressed optimism about preventing military strikes on Tehran's facilities.

Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed that Washington has conveyed a proposal for a new nuclear deal to Iran.
